Perceptics Announces Move to Larger Facility

Perceptics LLC, the leader in vehicle identification and license plate recognition technology, prepares for rapid growth with move to larger facility headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee

September 9, 2014, Knoxville Tennessee – Perceptics LLC, the leader in vehicle identification and license plate recognition technology will be relocating it’s business operations to a new 57,000 square-foot facility located in the heart of Farragut located in West Knoxville, Tennessee, to support the company’s need for more operational space as the company anticipates sizeable growth in the near future.

“We are thrilled to be moving to our new facility and feel the size and location of our new headquarters will be the most conducive to support our anticipated growth over the next several years,” said Perceptics President and CEO John Dalton. The new 57,000 square-foot Farragut campus will consist of space for sales, engineering, research, and executive offices, as well as development, demonstration, assembly and testing facilities for the imaging equipment.
“Having all of our departments in an open environment on one level was important to the efficiency and function of our operations,” said Dalton. “Our new facility offers us that.”

Strategically, Perceptics has been developing new and enhanced technologies to pursue new growth markets the company has not served in the past and anticipates substantial growth in the coming years with the company’s expansion in those new markets both domestically and internationally. “We are geared up to aggressively pursue new business within new markets and feel very confident we have the products and services to meet the demands of not only our end users but our channel partners who we work with as part of our global distribution network,” said Dalton.
