The Perceptics Foundation

Perceptics Foundation
Dedicated. Collaborative. Caring.

The Perceptics Foundation has reached $1 million in charitable giving

Governed by a board of directors made up of employees and friends of Perceptics, The Perceptics Foundation was founded in 2008 as a way to give back to the various communities to which Perceptics employees belong.  Employees that give monetary donations to registered non-profits will see that donation tripled by the Foundation. Those who volunteer their time will see each hour turned into a $300 donation. Instead of company leadership choosing a giving program, the Foundation allows for employees to choose causes that are important to them. Over the last 10 years, donations have been made to hospitals, schools, shelters for victims of domestic violence, animal rescue organizations, volunteer fire departments, youth sports programs, veterans groups, food banks, and more.

In addition to individual giving, each year The Foundation hosts lunch and learns to raise money and bring attention to various causes that affect our employees. We have also participated in group activities such as honoring veterans as part of Wreaths Across America, building a home with Habitat for Humanity, and even sponsoring a family suite in the neonatal intensive care unit at East Tennessee Children's Hospital. All volunteer activities and giving come from suggestions from the employees.
